Resolve to Make Your Dream Home Happen
No one could have predicted the economy as it is right now but the one thing that has happened is it's allowed people to really focus on what holds true value to them. People who've told themselves they could someday see their own businesses are finally doing it, and folks who've told themselves they could someday see themselves as homeowners are taking those next steps. The irony of it all is that no matter what grim statistics the evening news might pass along each night, there couldn't be a better time for you to invest in that mountain home you've always dreamed about. Between record-low prices, extremely low mortgage rates and an unbelievable inventory, you can expect to find exactly what you're looking for and quite possibly at a much lower price than you ever anticipated. So if you've been thinking about how nice it would be to have a little weekend getaway spot or the perfect family holiday place where relatives from all over could gather each year to celebrate and make new memories together, this is the time to do it. Or maybe you've grown tired of the stop-and-go traffic, rat race, bright lights and noise pollution of living and working in the city and are ready for a move, for a new way of life. This is a great time t do that, too.
Here at NC Land we really pride ourselves on being able to help so many different kinds of home-seekers, no matter what their situation. We frequently work with retirees, young couples, families and mid-stage "empty nesters" , not yet ready to retire but needing to begin pulling back as they go from traditional family to a couple with more freedom and flexibility with their schedule and savings.
The biggest mistake anyone could make is to not at least explore what options are out there. A new year is almost upon us. Make a resolution to investigate what mountain living is all about:
● Step inside a mountain home.
Don't be content to watch the DVD or read the brochure. Get in the car and come see for yourself. Check out a log cabin shell. Find out the difference in costs, options and look and feel of going that route versus a pre-existing home for sale or building your own from scratch.
● Check out the surroundings.
Frankly, as much peace and solitude is available, we still don't live in a bubble. Find out if you like the nearby towns and villages that you will be frequenting as a shopper, diner and active resident. Look into what kinds of arts and culture offerings are available if you're a big fan of that or try out some of our popular activities and sports and see if they're a good fit for you. Don't just visit. Become a part of this area - even if just for a few days.
● Know what you want, what you need and what you have.
Come in with a clear list of what you THINK you will want or need in a home or property. You may discover upon visiting and really exploring the area and mountain home living that some things are missing from the list and others already listed may not be so relevant after all. Also, be especially clear about what you have to work with in terms of funding. If exploring finance options, there are many great programs available but have these proverbial ducks in a row so we can point you in the right direction according to what may be most feasible and you can assess from there if it delivers all that you want or need.
If you'd like to get additional information on NC Land, Grandview Peaks and Broad River Highlands communities, visit us online at http://www.ncland.info or call us at 828-429-3875. You owe it to yourself to investigate what it would involve to finally have the home you've always dreamed about.

The Most Beautiful Region of NC Land for Sale
Property buyers are looking for beauty when considering where to build their dream home. If you are among those looking for the most beautiful region to build your new home, look no further. There are beautiful places, and then there are stunningly beautiful places. In most cases, the stunningly beautiful places have been bought out long ago and are now kept within families because the assessed value has gone up so much that it should never be sold because it is a viable financial asset. However, there are a few gems left across America; one of those regions is the western part of North Carolina, in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sure, perhaps it is stunningly beautiful, but is there still property to be purchased there? As luck would have it, there is still some NC land for sale in this western region.
The region is nestled between mountains that form part of the Appalachian Trail and five beautiful lakes, among them Lake Lure and Lake James. These parcels of land are found on some of the most rugged NC terrain, but are also very close to many small cities and towns that make for a pleasant rural living experience instead of a frustrating one. All too often, potential property buyers visit a rural spot that is simply too far away from ‘civilization’ to seriously consider living and working there, what with commuting to work and transporting children some 30 miles to school and back every day. For a lot of families, this way of living is out of the question; thankfully, this NC land for sale does not pose that problem.
In the Blue Ridge Mountains region one finds the small city of Forest City (population under 20,000) and several smaller towns, for example Marion and Asheville. These towns offer everything from hotels and restaurants to entertainment venues and practical shopping needs. This region truly offers the best of both worlds, seemingly lost in the middle of the wilderness, but within three to four miles of common conveniences. You will also find the nearest hospital within 15 miles from the properties available for purchase.
Western NC land for sale does not only offer the best of both worlds when it comes to rural, but accessible living. This region also offers a property investment. You do not have to be a real estate specialist to see that these parcels of property will increase in value, not just by the value of the house built on it, but also by sheer virtue of its existence. As the region becomes populated, prices should go up, but since each house is built on at least one acre, you can rest assured that your privacy is guaranteed.
Visit the website of Fall Creek Land Company today at www.ncland.info to see the wide variety in sizes of property parcels, as well as a wide variety of prices to suit any budget.
